Statistische Beratung

Viele wissenschaftliche Arbeiten beruhen auf der Interpretation von Messungen oder Beobachtungen und erfordern statistische Auswertungen. Häufig ergeben sich dabei Problemstellungen, die mit Standardverfahren nur unzureichend zu behandeln sind. Deshalb bietet der Lehrstuhl für Mathematische Statistik am Institut für Stochastik für Mitarbeiter aller Fakultäten der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena Unterstützung bei statistischen Problemen an.

Die Beratung umfasst statistische Fragen der

  • Planung,
  • Durchführung, und
  • Auswertung

wissenschaftlicher Projekte. Eine frühzeitige Kontaktaufnahme ist unbedingt zu empfehlen, da schon in der Phase der Versuchsplanung entscheidende Weichen gestellt werden.

Die Art der Zusammenarbeit hängt von den Beteiligten und dem Projekt ab und muss im Einzelfall geklärt werden. Der Umfang einer statistischen Beratung reicht von

  • einer Kurzberatung (etwa 1 h) über
  • kurzfristige kleine Projekte bis zu
  • längerfristigen gemeinsamen Projekten.

Dabei können wir im Allgemeinen nicht die Auswertung von Daten als Service-Leistung übernehmen.
